Mutants & Masterminds

I've been playing M&M for over a year now on Crucible City MUSH, but a new game store has opened in my town and I've decided to help them out by running a weekly campaign.

I'm curious what HOUSE RULES any of you may use for this game. M&M is a very open, unstructured sort of system (as opposed to, say, something like Hero or GURPS) and it seems to me there's a lot of wiggle room for various GMs to make judgment calls. It's also still quite young, so official rulings are hard to come by.

Anyone have any house rulings they'd like to share?
