2:54p - Complex Character Generation
Greetings fellow roleplayers.

Bit of a general question here.

What is the most complex/detailed character generation system you've encountered?

I'm not talking about something like D&D 3.5 which gives you a wide range of choice, I'm talking about something that grinds you down with the minutiae of the character.

Where did the character grow up? What family do they have? What useless information have they collected over the years? When did they aquire that little trinket? ETC.

Lifepath systems are good examples, such as those from Fading Suns or BattleTech/Mechawarrior, but these simply give a framework for the characters history, whilst fleshing out some minor details.

4th Edition Shadworun has Trivia skills, which everyone should have to represent those things that people pick up through their lives.

So, have at it, what is the most complex/detailed character generation system you've encountered?
