[GMs] Details That Never Show Up

Something I've thought about a bit when planning my new campaign:

I'll create little details for a setting to make things more interesting or real to me, and to sit as plot hooks in case the players end up exploring that particular avenue. Sometimes however, major details and cool secrets just never come up in the game, and end up just kind of filed away in the back of my mind or tucked away in notes somewhere.

I'm guessing this has happened to other GMs, unless you just use pre-written material or make up everything as it happens. So I thought it would be fun to share our spoilers, to lay out some of the stuff that is tucked away in your campaign that no one ever found out.

I'll post some of mine to the comments, since a few are relevant to my next campaign.
