Casting a question out to the community:
Has anyone run, put together, or played in an RPG adventure, story, etc. that was set in ancient-to-modern Middle East? Just wondering what people's experiences were in designing or playing in such a setting. What sources did you draw from in order to build the setting or build a character in that/from that setting? I'm curious to know what people have used to familiarize themselves with the culture (other than "check wikipedia").
I was wondering if anyone has played/run Burning Wheel, and if you'd be willing to give a review?
So Black Industries is shutting down shop three days after Dark Heresy sells out completely? What's that about? This is the first time in a long time I have been completely pumped about an upcoming RPG and then the rug was pulled from under me.
I guess I should expect that from a Games Workshop product.
