Strategic-level Vampire play

I'm planning on running a hybrid Vampire the Masquerade/Requiem game that chronicles the history of a single vampire bloodline from Ancient Rome to the modern day. The players will first assume the roles of the bloodline's founders and then switch to their childer when the original characters fall into torpor or get otherwise inconvenienced. The campaign will end in the early 21st century, when the Internet and other modern technology makes it impossible to uphold the Masquerade anymore - leading to an apocalyptic battle between humanity and the Kindred, with either all vampires being eradicated or mankind becoming a permanent thrall for their undead masters.

As a result, the players will be doing their best to wrap the world around their finger and to influence history on a grand scale. Are there any good supplements/sourcebooks (either oWoD, nWoD or some entirely other system) with useful rules for such strategic-level play? A lot of the game will be traditional "adventuring", but I'll also want rules for resolving with a couple of die rolls the things the characters are too busy to pay personal attention to - like how much money their investments in a foreign province are producing this year, and how many new children are born to the ghoul breeding lines they're cultivating.
