Oh this amuses me in a huge way.

I was trying to find out the name of a road at PSU main campus, so I found this location. http://www.campusmaps.psu.edu/

Then something caught my eye. Look at the top row, second photo from the left. See the guy with the long ponytail, his back to the camera as he works on a black laptop. Look at the very colorful map on the wall in front of him.

That's not a map of Penn State. That's an ADND Map of the Flanaess from the world of Greyhawk. HA!

10:28p - Character Trees
I run a weekly D&D game, and I recently told my players that they could make two extra characters at the level of their current character. These extra characters will be compatriots of the current PCs (who are members of the adventurer's guild in town), and they will be allowed to switch out whenever the opportunity presents itself, typically between jobs/adventures. No one is allowed to play more than one character at once, but all three will get XP at the same rate (the other two will be considered to be off having adventures of their own when not in use by the players). In time, I even plan on showcasing some of these other adventures as a way to advance the plotline of the campaign.

Have any of you ever done something like this? If so, how did it work out for you?
