So my gaming group has been watching a lot of zombie movies lately, and as such we have been doing a lot of talking about interesting games to do zombies with. We got the usual - Hunter, Unknown Armies, D&D, et cetera...
Our GM wants to run Star Trek. Ship gets launched and then the Rapture happens. After all, the best zombie games are the ones where you have NO IDEA the zombies are coming.
The idea amuses me. So: what are some games where you would NEVER EXPECT zombies?

So my group is currently dealing with a problem and I at least could use some advice on how to deal with it.
Here it goes:

Any advice on how to handle this situation would be appreciated.

Any thoughts on Fireborn? Worth buying? Interesting? Playable? Lets hear it!

I was wondering about the various "xd6" systems. Y'know, games where you roll a big ol' bunch of d6 and add them all up.
Anyone whose played games like this have any thoughts on the games. How many dice can you roll before it becomes a huge pain? It seems like adding up 7d6 would slow down a game. Maybe not that much each roll, but it seems like it would add up.

9:28p - World Works Games Adventures
In other news, the module I have created for http://www.worldworksgames.com is nearly completed. Some brushing up is needed to get it out the door, and I can barely wait. My wife ended up writing it with me, so she gets full credit too!
The Eye of Cappellasis is an an adventure module for your Fantasy D20 3.5 adventures, for 3-6 characters of 3rd to 5th levels. This model features instructions to use the Chunky Dungeons™ model set, as well as custom model pieces, optional pre-generated characters, and monster props.
The cover art for the Eye of Cappellasis looks fantastic, and I am excited to see this hit the virtual shelves. This will be my second offical "paid" published work, and things are looking great. Denny at WorldWorks Games is a great "boss". He has already ordered two more, with hopes for a great partnership on further products and game modules.
I will let you know as soon as possible about a more accurate release date, but its coming. Really it is!
Sorry if this sounds like a promotion, but I just wanted people to know its coming. And soon.
If you are not already familiar with World Works Games, I urge you to visit their website at http://www.worldworksgames.com and visit their forums at http://www.worldworksgames.com/forum/index.php under the topic of WorldWorks Adventures to share what you would like to see in an adventure module.
