12:55p - Opinions wanted for base values for homemade-RPG
OK .. here's the issue:
I am working on rules for my own RPG.
The system will use 6 Attributes:
Body - a measure for strength, endurance and constitution
Dexterity - dexterous body
Legerdemain - dexterous fingers and hands
Charisma - mainly used for social talents
Intelligence - analytical and logical thought - basically what you need your left half of your brain for
Wits - Creativity, Spontanity and Intuition - right half of brain
Now .. the Issue is that I want to assign 3 Attributes to various basic-values needed for my combat-module.
I thought of it like:
Attack: Body + 2x Dexterity
Parry: 2x Dexterity + Wits
Bows: Body, Dexterity, Wits
Crossbows: Dexterity, Legerdemain, Wits
Thrown Weapons: Body, Dexterity, Wits
Dodge: 2x Dexterity, Wits
If you would use another combination of Attributes, please tell me which (with reasoning).
