I was referencing the new 3.5 rules for D&D, and thought the new rules for the 4th level polymorph a bit open-ended Now that you can basically turn any willing creature into whatever other sized creature as long as the HD of the subject is not less than that of the form taken... But!, it's only now for 1min/level, making the spell pretty much useless for disguises, and other practical purposes.
I was wondering how other people applied this spell to their games in the past, and how the DM handled the situations. For me at least, this looks like more of a specialized combat oriented spell now that you can turn your familiar into an eight-headed hydra at level eight...
