2:41p - Game advice from J-Vo
My friend J-Vo posted this in our OWbN LARP yahoogroups, and while I have not read through it all, I thought I'd post it here, so enjoy it if you will. Oh, and he said (since we are LARPers) "Replace all references with online/MUD/MMORPG with LARP and there are some very interesting points raised here."

11:49p - Wanna help out a fellow community member?
Hey guys,

Well, I am sure some of you know about the ENnie Awards. Basically, they're a big d20 awards ceremony that has a lot of prestige in the eyes of many gamers and game developers. Last year's ceremony was hosted by Gary Gygax himself. This year's ceremony is being held at GenCon, in Milwaukee, WI.

Well, my site, SWRPGNetwork (http://www.swrpgnetwork.com), has been nominated in the Best Fan Resource Site category. However, our competition is stiff: we're up against four D&D websites. I would appreciate it if my fellow LJ community members would help a friend out and vote for my site. You can vote by going to http://www.enworld.org/booth and casting a vote in the right category for SWRPGNetwork.

If you don't have time or aren't inclined to, that's fine. But I really think we deserve to win, and only our status as a fanbase-number underdog (being a non-D&D site) is really keeping our Award fate in limbo. Help a fellow community member out, eh?
