Okay, I'll bite.
I always wanted to game when I was much younger, but I could never hook up with any one that would let me.
The group I play with now has been together in one form or another since October of 1999. We started playing Mage. The character I'm running is a Cult of Ecstasy rock drummer called Pyro. She damn near got herself killed tonight. About three months into playing Mage another gamer asked if he could have a turn at running a Champions game. That sounded reallyfun because I used to pretend I was a superhero when I was a kid all the time anyway. That resulted in Gothic (don't laugh, it was all I could come up with!), who flies and dresses like a Vegas Showgirl according to one of the other PCs. She's telepathic and she doesn't like it.
We enjoyed a very brief World of Darkness stint before that GM/PC bailed. It's too bad, 'cause that was one of my favorite characters, a Verbena Mage with a Gurahl girlfriend. About the time he left I decided to run a 3rd Ed D&D game. There were some interpersonal issues that came up and the group shrank again. I ditched the D&D game (largely because the plot was gutted) and am currently thinking about starting an ElfQuest game. Someone else is adapting the 3rd Ed D&D rules to the Tolkien universe, so I'm going to have to come up with another character here in a minute.
Anyone else ever do the rotating GM thing? I love it, but I'm having so much fun with Mage at the moment I'm having a hard time getting excited about the next round of Champions.
