8:16p - Defenders of the Faith, and UnderWorld
I just picked up "Defenders of the Faith: A Guidebook to Clerics and Paladis" and overall I like it. I'm a big fan of 3rd Ed, even if I'm not so fond of the whole "level" thing. DoF has some cool background info for holy rollers, and several cool Prestige classes. I'm not overly fond of Prestige classes, there are so many I shudder to think of all the High Level characters running around a world full of them.

I also picked up a cool game called UnderWorld
It's a subterranian Urban Fantasy game set in the subways, sewers and caves below NYC. The game mechanics are simple, but some bits are too vague. Still, I like it, and recomend it highly! Just don't be afraid to do a lot of creative rule fudging. The system is very dependant on the GM to make up a lot of the fine details. UnderWorld is also designed to work as a table top or a live action RPG, with a very creative Live Action combat system backing up the round by round table top combat system.

current mood: indescribable
