Serenity RPG

So, if you haven't heard, Margaret Weis Productions is discontinuing the Serenity and Battlestar Galactica RPGs at the end of the month. They've slashed prices on the eBooks and they are pulling them from sale on the 1st (they also stopped printing books sometime last year, although there may be copies in stores still).

Anyway, I had picked up the Serenity corebook some time back and played in one demo at a con, but never did much else with the game. The book seemed incomplete, probably because the original license terms limited MWP to just covering the movie, not the tv show. I just picked up Big Damn Heroes and started reading it last night. I'd say this is a "must have" for the game. It offers a lot more options and really improves the overall system/setting quite a bit. It certainly feels much more like I have a complete game now.

Naturally I popped Firefly on Netflix and am thinking about running a game now. So, what have you done with Serenity? What adventure hooks work best for a one-shot? How useful are Six-Shooters & Spaceships and Serenity Adventures (at $4.99 I may just get 'em anyway)?

Anyone currently running a Serenity game? If so, any Actual Play threads/links?
