Daeva Primogen, local burlesque star
Verona was a flapper and speakeasy dancer in Chicago when she was embraced. She arrived in Austin as part of the experiment that showed up in '71. She's the main attraction for a burlesque troupe that performs pretty much every weekend, and tends to feed on her sizable fan base. I really haven't detailed her history or activities much.
A British vampire who arrived in Austin after the Carthians took over, Catherine's history is largely unknown. She's a former Invictus, and member of the Kallisti bloodline. One of the PCs, Eliska, has started hanging out with her, unaware of Catherine's history of chewing up assisstant harpies and spitting them out broken and shattered. (Mentally and socially, not literally.)
Nocturnal Athlete Of Sorts
One of my favorite things in the Carthian book is a trend among the Carthians of young, physically adept vampires who indulge in late night Masquerade bending competitions and sports. It began in Houston with a group of Parkour fanatics. I had to include a group of them in Austin. Ramos is the head of a group of Damned known as the East City Bowling League, 5 vamps who spend their nights competing in games that are only slightly more formal than Calvinball. Secretly, Ramos and his gang are also the main muscle in the Anti Obstructionist Army, a radical subsect of the Carthians who believe vampires shouldn't control or manipulate mortals, and in Austin have been attacking businesses and havens of vampires who delve too deeply in mortal affairs.
Garret was always kind of a fuck up in life, fairly intelligent and creative, he never really went anywhere. After dropping out of college, he putzed around town for a while before running afoul of a seductive Daeva. (One of the local vamps? Some random out of towner?) After the embrace he skipped town for a few years, returning last year to embrace his ex-girlfriend in a foolish hope that he could force her to love him. It didn't go so well. Since then I haven't really decided what he's up to. Laying low, brooding? Garret's about to show up in the next game session. His dad (uncle? brother?) was a cop, and he's none too happy about recent events. Garret's had a rough couple of years, he's already lost 2 points of Humanity, and he's probably not long for this world.

Humanity: 7 (maybe 6?)
Emma was the PC in a solo Vampire game I ran for my girlfriend last year. Now she's an NPC in this game, with the occasional input from my girlfriend as to how she should act. Emma is probably one of the more defined NPCs in the game because of this. Emma has a fairly complex love/hate relationship with her sire, that's leaning heavily to hate these days. (He tried to blood bond her before he'd bothered explaining things.) She's close to several Mekhet, including the PCs, as well as Samuel the Carthian Keeper of Elysium, and Carter from the Ordo Dracul. (see later posts.) Emma's Vice comes out in a Mean Girls kind of way, not a physical conflict kind of way. She was recently at the center of a bit of drama centered around Robert Vohl, the former Herald for the Primogen. I don't need much detail on Emma, but the PCs mostly like her, so we can certainly get her sucked in to plots with other vamps.
Sire: ? (There are several Invictus Daeva in town to choose from.)
Byron is a member of Ramos's gang, and a former strong man for the Invictus. Loosely based on the Former Ordo Dracul Leg Breaker from Clanbook: Daeva. Other than that, I got nothing.
Member of Ramos's Gang
Malcolm's a driven athlete, and that's about all I've decided.
Hank is based on the big dumb hick from the Carthian book, and I love him. He hasn't shown up in the game yet, but I really should change that. He's a big brother type for the younger Carthians in town, definitely underestimated by the other Covenants. He's strong and tough, but more importantly he's sympathetic and fairly decent, for an undead guy.
Ok, that's it for today.
Feel free to flesh out anyone's background or history, aside from Emma who is pretty detailed. Feel free to add last names for anyone who doesn't have one. Any suggestions for sires or what these vampires are up to and who they're wanting to screw over would also be greatly appreciated. Virtues, Vices, and Humanity Scores aren't written istone. In most of my games, most of the NPC vamps tend to have between 3 and 5 Humanity, with the PCs hopefully staying above that. Most of them anyway.
I want this game to be scary, and right now the big thing it's lacking is scary things that the vampires in town are doing to each other and the mortals around them.
